Orbit Southern celebrates three new tenant deals

We have welcomed a number of new tenants to our commercial properties recently as businesses emerge from the effects of the pandemic and plan their office returns.

The Stables Block in Egham, part of the Blays Estate, has become home to a leading promotional products supplier. The company has just signed a five-year lease in the property, which is a refurbished, self-contained character building of 1,266 sq ft.

The office building has fantastic space over two levels, featuring an open plan ground floor office with an exposed eaves ceiling.

In addition, we have installed new finishes throughout the building, with integrated LED lighting, decoration and carpeting.

Blays Estate is conveniently located just off the A30, only 2.5 miles from junction 13 of the M25. Egham town centre and train station is two miles away and provides a wide range of shops and restaurants with a regular train service to London Waterloo. Both Heathrow and Gatwick Airports are readily accessible.

We have also completed another letting in quick succession at Grosvenor House, London Road in Redhill, Surrey. A global semiconductor solutions business has taken 4,360 sq ft of newly refurbished second floor office space on a 10-year lease. This space benefits from a roof terrace with great views over Redhill Memorial Park. Our new tenants have invested in a superb, modern fit out programme and have recently taken occupation of the space.

This latest activity means we have taken the building to 40% occupancy and are now focused on letting the remaining 30,800 sq ft, on the ground and first floors, along with a small office of 1,835 sq ft on the second floor.

This property was comprehensively refurbished and benefits from a large on site car park. It is also located in a prominent position in the town centre, within walking distance of all amenities, including the mainline station which is a 5 minute walk away, with a regular service to London Victoria. Junction 8 of the M25 is just a 7 minute journey by car from the building.

Last and not least we have also secured a Managed Office Agreement for a small accountancy business moving into Winslow House, Ascot.

Leasing Director Willem Janssen commented: “Our recent letting success is testament to the Orbit Southern team, who continue to deliver our services in a friendly and knowledgeable way, providing a bespoke office solution for all businesses whatever their size or aspiration.”
