An ambitious freight forwarding business has moved its Heathrow operation into larger more prestigious office accommodation close to Heathrow Airport as part of significant growth plans for the firm.
Senator International Freight Forwarding Limited has taken c. 1,700 sq ft on the second floor of Building 4 on Orbit Development’s Heathrow Boulevard campus, a mature landscaped business park with excellent access to Heathrow, the M4, M25 and Central London.
The move puts Senator UK at the heart of its industry at Heathrow and will support its continuous drive to improve its first call service to clients and create a better working environment for its existing and future team.
A well established and respected international freight forwarder Senator UK has had a base in the country for over 25 years. It is part of the global Senator organisation which employs 1,700 people in 65 offices around the world with a corporate HQ in Hamburg, Germany.
The company works with a range of SME and corporate clients to deliver their shipments to and from the UK by air, ocean and road, including customs clearance at the border.
Managing Director Andy Whitehouse said moving into Heathrow Boulevard was a transformative step in the plan to grow the business and increase the firm’s presence in the area. “Heathrow Boulevard is located on the perimeter of Heathrow airport which is the perfect base for an international freight forwarding company, especially one with such significant volumes coming via the airport.
